Clearing Out a House
We get this call a lot. It is usually somebody dealing with a parent's house after a death. There is a deadline from a realtor or a landlord. They are doing the work themselves on weekends. Here is what we can tell you from having supplied a lot of these jobs.
A house's worth of belongings is a 30-yard dumpster, not a 20, and definitely not a 15. Furniture eats volume. A three-bedroom house that does not look cluttered still fills a 30 once the closets, the attic and the garage come out. If the house is full, plan on two hauls. Know that going in. A second dumpster is a second rental. It is better as a plan than a surprise.
The rental is 14 days, and we do not come take the dumpster until you call and say you are done. If weekends are when you can work, the window covers two of them. Extra days are $9 a day, not a renegotiation.
What Goes In
Furniture, mattresses, clothes, papers, kitchenware, the shed, the garage shelves, the stuff the yard has collected. Appliances go in too. TVs and e-waste we take for recycling. Mattresses and some appliances carry an extra charge, so count them for us on the phone. The short no list: oil, batteries, asbestos. Old paint cans and chemicals from under the sink stay out too. Your county's collection day handles those.
Placement at an Older House
Estate work is often at older properties: long gravel drives, big trees, a yard nobody has parked a truck in for years. The driver looks at the ground before he sets anything. He finds the solid spot. He puts driveway protection down if you ask for it. If the place is rural, that is normal for us. A good part of our route is farmhouses and acreage.

What size dumpster does an estate cleanout need?
The 30-yard. A house's worth of furniture and belongings fills it, and a genuinely full house takes two hauls. We have supplied enough of these to estimate honestly from a phone description. Tell us bedrooms, garage, attic, shed. We will call it.
How long can I keep the dumpster for a house cleanout?
14 days, which covers two weekends of work. Past that it is $9 a day, and we do not pick up until you tell us you are finished either way.
How much does an estate cleanout dumpster cost?
$600 per 30-yard haul, 4 tons of disposal included, $60 a ton past that off the scale ticket. Household goods rarely go over the weight. The pricing page has everything.
Can you take furniture and mattresses?
Yes, and furniture goes in as-is. Mattresses carry an extra charge, so tell us how many when you book. The price on the phone will match the invoice.
What towns do you do estate cleanout dumpsters in?

Do you do the cleanout work, or just the dumpster?
We supply the dumpster and haul it. The loading is yours or your crew's. If something is too heavy to load by hand, we have a skid steer. A shed's contents, a concrete pad, that kind of thing. Ask about it when you call.
