On the Builds
New construction is a steady share of our work. It follows where the Upstate is growing. We are on neighborhood builds in Duncan and Reidville this year. We have supplied three neighborhood builds in Fountain Inn and three communities in Mauldin. And the BMW battery plant build in Woodruff. Construction debris is what these dumpsters were built for. Framing scrap, siding offcuts, drywall, packaging, all of it. Tear-offs run through the roofing dumpster page, where the shingle weight math lives.
A build site runs on the rotation: the 30-yard goes out, comes back empty, goes out again. The crews we work with already know the two rules: load it level with the rail, and call when it is ready. The driver will not drag an overloaded dumpster onto a public road.
Heavy Material
Concrete, asphalt, brick and shingles go in our dumpsters, and this is where the scale ticket matters. Included tonnage is 4 tons on the 30 and 3 on the 20s. A dumpster of pure concrete blows past any of those numbers long before it looks full. For heavy-material loads, call it in as heavy material. We will plan the size and the fill line by the ton. Overage is $60 a ton. It comes off the printed scale ticket you get with the invoice.
Placement on a Site
Tell the driver where the pull is. Keep the run clear. A 30 needs about 25 feet of straight approach, with the overhead clear of wires and branches. He calls before he comes every time, delivery and pickup both, so the site never gets surprised by a truck. If the dumpster has to sit on the street instead of the site, check with the town first. What goes in a construction dumpster?
Framing lumber, drywall, siding, packaging, flooring, roofing, concrete and brick. The no list is oil, batteries and asbestos. If a material makes you hesitate, ask when you call rather than after it is loaded.
What size dumpster do new builds use?
The 30-yard, almost always, on a rotation. We own more 30s than any other size. That is why we can keep a rotation moving without a site waiting on an empty.
How much does a construction dumpster cost?
$600 per 30-yard haul with 4 tons included, $60 a ton over, off the scale ticket. Every charge is on the pricing page. No fuel add-ons appear on the invoice that were not on the page.
Do you serve builds in Duncan and Reidville?
We are on builds in both right now. Those corridors are ten minutes from our Woodruff yard, which is part of why the rotation timing works. The service area page shows the rest of the map.
Can a dumpster take a full load of concrete?
It can take concrete. It cannot take a FULL dumpster of concrete, because weight outruns volume several times over. Call it in as a concrete load and we will set the fill line by the ton. We also do concrete pickup with the skid steer for debris a crew cannot load.
Should I book a construction dumpster or a residential one?
Same dumpsters, same prices. The difference is how we schedule: builds run on rotations, houses run one rental at a time. If this is a one-off remodel, the residential page is the one to read.
