DJP is Devin's initials. He runs the trucks and takes the calls. Carrie handles the billing and everything he does not. The company works out of one yard in Woodruff.
Devin came out of trucking. He and Carrie moved to Woodruff at the end of 2020. He saw how much building was going on around here. In 2021 he bought a couple of trucks and some containers and started slow. His words about the first year: busier than he expected, and more paperwork than he expected. The regulations were the hard part. The hauling he already knew.
The business runs the way a trucking family runs things. Devin takes the calls and drives when a job needs him. Carrie does the billing, the receivables, and the scheduling. She does everything he does not. If you call about an invoice, you are talking to her.
He has an opinion you will hear if you rent from us. Here it is in advance. If you are between two sizes, take the bigger one. A second haul costs more than the size step every time. The overflowing small dumpster is the most common mistake in this business. He would rather talk you into the right dumpster once than charge you for two trips.
A while back a family in the area lost their house to a fire, with no insurance behind them. They were living in a tent on their own land next to what was left of the place. We brought them containers and hauled the debris out. Our time and our tonnage. They could clear the ground and start over. Devin does not tell that story to sell dumpsters, and it feels strange putting it on a website at all. It is here because it is the truest thing we can say. It is how this company thinks about the people it works for.
We are members of the Home Builders Association of Spartanburg County. We sponsor Fountain Inn High School every year, and the sign at the field is ours. We buy our roll-off containers from a business in Simpsonville rather than ordering them from three states away. None of that is a strategy. It is what living where you work looks like.
